Tokyo 2020 Olympics: Chukwuebuka Enekwechi comes 12th in ShotPut final

Nigeria’s Chukwuebuka Enekwechi has finished 12th in the Tokyo 2020 Olympics Shotput final on Thursday morning, August 5.

Enekwechi’s throw of 19.74m was too poor to Grant him a spot on the medals table after he fouled in his opening throw,  threw 18.87m on his 2nd attempt and threw 19.74m in his third attempt.

The Shotput gold medal went to Ryan Crouser of the United States, Joe Kovacs also of the United won silver while the bronze went to Tom Walsh of New Zealand.

Enekwechi went viral a few days ago after he shared a video of himself washing the only jersey given to him by the Nigeria Sports ministry.
