#BBNaija 2021: Liquorose, Michael, Cross, Angel & Saskay win Pepsi Music Challenge; to get N6.5million
The housemates of the Big Brother Naija season 6 edition had a series of challenges in the house today that is sponsored by Pepsi.
The tasks tested the music knowledge of the housemates in groups and individually, to start the task the housemates were shared into teams, the teams are,
Team 1: Michael, White Money, Queen, Jackie B, Tega
Team 2: Cross, Angel, Liquorose, Saskay
Team 3: Boma, Nini, Peace, Jaypaul
Team 4: Pere, Emmanuel, Saga, Yousef
The first round of the challenges had 3 tasks namely,
Dance Round the Chair: one representative of each team was selected by the team members to dance round 3 chairs while listening to a song. There was 2 regular dining table chair and one special Pepsi chair. The representatives are to sit on the chair once the music stops. The rep that fails to sit down win 5 points for his team, the ones that get to sit on the dining table get 10 points for their team while the housemate that sits on the Pepsi chair gets 15 points for his team. Michael, Cross, Boma and Pere were the representative for their respective teams. Boma was unable to sit at the end of the song, Cross and Pere sat on the dining table while Michael sat on the Pepsi chair.
Pepsi Music Ambassador Knowledge: Big Brother played 5 songs from the Pepsi Ambassadors to each group, the team are to mention the title of the song, the team member that gets the title correctly wins 5 points, the scoring was base on individual performance
Pepsi DJ Ambassador Knowledge: Catchy phrase from Pepsi’s DJ was read out to each team and the member of the team that gets the DJ name right gets 10 points. Saskay won the pointed in her group, Pere, Jackie B and Peace also won it for their individual groups.
The second round was about music performance and this was done in teams. A representative of each team picked a song from a box and for 60 minutes Biggie played the four songs selected intermittently for them to practice their choreography. Team 1 picked Way Too Big, Team 2 picked Ginger by Wizkid feat Burna Boy, Team 3 picked Kele Kele Love by Tiwa Savage while Team 4 picked On The Low by Burna Boy. After 60 minutes of practice, the housemates were called into the Arena to perform their songs.
Team 2 was declared the winner of round 2 while Liquorose and Michael were declared the winners of the first round. For winning the second round, each member of Team 2 (Cross, Angel, Liquorose, Saskay) will get N500,000 each. Michael gets N2.5 million for winning the individual round while Liquorose came second and was rewarded with N1 million and an all-expense-paid trip to One Music Fest in Dubai.
All the housemates were also rewarded with an all-expense paid trip to One Music Fest in Dubai for their energy.
