“I thought a cyber attack was going down” – Singer, Simi reacts to the social media blackout yesterday
Singer, Simi has shared how she felt about the social media platforms, Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp going down yesterday.
Recall that WhatsApp, Instagram and Facebook experience a full blackout on Monday evening globally and the platforms which had billions of users were all down for hours, causing widespread panic and fears among people.
However, Simi has now reacted to the downtime, sharing how she felt about the whole blackout.
The singer put up a question and answer (Q&A) session on her Instagram Stories for her followers to talk about it, and then she went first, before anyone else.
She wrote:
“I’ll go first. I thought there was a cyber attack worldwide yesterday and it was about to go down like in the movies.
My mummy suggested rapture tho. I was like I’m holding Deja right now, she ain’t finna leave without me.”
