Moment prison inmates gave Ghanaian singer, Shatta Wale, a rousing welcome as he begins his jailtime (Video)
A viral video shows the moment Ghanaian Dancehall singer, Shatta Wale, was given a rousing welcome by inmates of the Ankaful Maximum prison when he arrived to serve his 10-day remand.
Recall that the singer was arrested a week ago for faking his shooting and causing fear and panic in the general public.
It was gathered that he staged the shooting with some members of his SM team, in reaction to a death prophecy by preacher, Jesus Ahuofe.
During his appearance in court, he was sent on a 10-day remand in Ankaful maximum prison where he is to stay and await his trial.
A video that has gone viral captures the moment he was escorted into the facility by prison officials and the inmates went wild with excitement as they welcomed him to the prison.
They could be seen shouting for joy and hailing the embattled singer.
