A video of Nigeria’s vice president, Yemi Osinbajo, dining with primary school pupils in a classroom has gotten Nigerians talking on social media.

It was gathered that the video was filmed at Alagbaka Estate Primary School in Akure, Ondo state, when the vice president went on a two-day visit for the launch of the Micro, Small and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) clinic.

Osinbajo reportedly visited the school and joined Primary 3B class while they were having an English lesson. He is said to have read a comprehension passage to the pupils before sharing a meal with them. The vice president who was a former University lecturer stated that he enjoys teaching.

He further added that the purpose of the National homegrown school feeding program is to ensure students and pupils are well-fed every day.

Meanwhile, netizens have taken to social media to express their displeasure with Osinbajo for ‘feigning humility’ when the election is around the corner. According to them, politicians repeat the same format every time and it is getting old.
