Port Harcourt pastor allegedly refuses to wed couple for hugging in pre-wedding photo

A Twitter user has narrated what happened at a wedding he attended where the ceremony was delayed for 2 hours as the priest refused to wed the couple.

According to the user with handle @thatPHCboy, the pastor was disgruntled with the couple’s pre-wedding photo that was used for the wedding brochure because the couple were hugging in the photo.

@thatPHCboy shared that the couple and their parents had to spend up to two hours pleading with the pastor before he agreed to wed them on the condition that the cover of the brochure will be removed.

The wedding was eventually held at noon and guests were given a wedding programme without front and back cover.
