“Respect those who made it to the top without social media” – Fashion designer, Yomi Casual

Celebrity fashion designer, Yomi Casual has reacted to the Facebook, Instagram and WhatsApp 6-hour outage, that happened yesterday, October 4th.

Popular social media platforms, WhatsApp, Facebook and Instagram became inaccessible for some users around the world, including Nigeria.

After the outage which according to reports lasted 6 hours, the platforms are now back and working perfectly. However, Yomi Casual took to his Instagram page to address 21st-century celebrities and online business owners.

According to him, the incident should be a lesson to 21st-century celebrities whose sources of income depend solely on social media.

He noted that entrepreneurs like himself who built their brand without social media deserve to be respected.

In his words,

“This should serve as a lesson to ya’all 21st-century celebrities and online business owners. You are nothing without the media! Respect those who made it to the top without social media. #thestruggleisdifferent”.
