FG claims to have spent borrowed money on us but we didn’t receive anything – Adamu Garba

Former presidential aspirant, Adamu Garba on Wednesday tackled the government over its claims that it has spent billions of naira on Nigerians in the past few years under different social intervention programmes.

In a post on his Facebook page, Garba wondered why the government keeps borrowing and saying that the monies were spent on the citizens whereas no one can prove that the government indeed disbursed money to the people.

The All Progressives Congress chieftain said that it is time to ‘retire’ old politicians who are no longer trustworthy.

He wrote; ”They borrowed & borrowed, they claimed to have spent it on us, yet we can’t substantiate anything from it.
