Nigerians react to Dollar Scarcity as Naira trades at N375 to a Dollar

The Nigerian Naira crashed to US Dollars at the official market at the close of the day on Friday, as the currency of the most populous black nation continues to struggle in the foreign exchange market.

The Naira, which had maintained stability against the dollars at the official market in two previous days suddenly came crashing.

At the end of the day on Friday, a US Dollar was exchanged at N415.10, according to a report from FMDQ Security Exchange.

This represents an increase of 0.09 per cent.

The Naira had entered the market exchanging at N414.39 to a US Dollar but fell before the day ended.

At the Black Market in Lagos, a US Dollar exchanges for N540 as of Saturday, November 13.
