“Ignore calls to run for President again” – Actor, Okon Lagos advises ex-president Goodluck Jonathan

Nollywood actor, Imeh Okon, popularly known as Okon Lagos, has advised ex-President, Goodluck Jonathan to ignore the call to run for president in the 2023 general election.

The actor gave this advice on Thursday, January 20, in a post he shared on his Insta-stories.

According to him, Jonathan should not run for president again regardless of how much he’s been wooed because too much damage has been done to the country after his exit in 2015, and there’s only little he can do to fix it.

In his words,

“Rumors have it that Goodluck is being wooed to run for president again. Abeg your excellency, as tempting as it may, Don’t. Too much damage is done and there is too little you can do to fix it in just a term. Imagine bringing in Ronaldo in 90+2 mins to turn around the fortunes of a team that is down by 7 nil! What will he do? Magic?? Remain the legend and hero you are sir. Duck the bait!”
