OAP, Gbemi cries out after a Clothing Brand inflated their price because of her Status
Media personality, Gbemi Olateru-Olagbegi, has taken to social media to lament about her experience with a clothing brand.
According to Gbemi, she contacted the brand to make an inquiry about an outfit they posted on their social media page and she was told the price.
She said she told her friend to contact the same brand to inquire about the same dress but they told her a lesser price than what she was told.
Gbemi who seemed perplexed by the inflated price questioned why they charged her a higher price.
Taking to Twitter, she wrote,
“I dm’ed a bespoke brand yesterday asking about the price of a dress on their page . They said it’s 45k.
I had a friend dm them as well about the same dress & they told her it’s 40k.
Yes I know it’s only 5k difference but why give me a higher price ?
It’s unfair.”
