Following Wizkid’s double Grammy loss, Nigerians have dug out an old tweet of the singer where he stated that he doesn’t care about awards.

According to Wizkid, he sees it as a bunch of ‘peeps’ putting together a show.

Wizkid added that he doesn’t post about nominations or talk about it because he doesn’t care.

He tweeted,

“I don’t post about nominations or talk about awards cos I don’t really care to be honest. Just a bunch of peeps putting together a show!”.

Reacting to this, Twitter user Kamal_Z said, “Machala has spoken. He doesn’t care so y’all f*ck yourselves”.

Ayomide_Tammy wrote,
