Train Attack: Terrorists release photo of kidnapped passenger’s Newborn Baby

The terrorists that attacked the Abuja-Kaduna bound train have released a picture of the newly born girl of one of the kidnapped passengers.

It can be recalled that on Monday, March 28, the terrorists set explosives on the train track and attacked the passengers, killing a medical doctor and abducting 63 passengers including an eight months pregnant woman.

The terrorists believed to be Ansaru, a faction that separated from Boko Haram reportedly released a photo of the newly born baby girl delivered by the abducted passenger on Wednesday night, April 27.

According to unconfirmed reports, the terrorists brought in doctors to attend to the pregnant woman to ensure she delivered the baby safely.

It’s a month since the tragic incident that shook the country occurred and only one of the 63 kidnapped victims have been released.

The released passenger said to be the Managing Director of the Bank of Agriculture, Alwan Hassan, was released after he paid N100 million ransom to the terrorists.

In other news, the young Nigerian doctor, Chinelo Megafu, who was killed in the Abuja-Kaduna train attack in March, has been laid to rest on April 21, 2022.

The 29-year-old died from injuries she sustained during the terrorist attack on the Abuja-Kaduna train on Monday, March 28. She had tweeted during the attack, saying she had been shot and asked Nigerians to pray for her.

The funeral service was held at the Shepherdhill Baptist Church, Obanikoro, and her body was interred afterwards at the Ebony Private Cemetery, Ikoyi.
