Man proposes to childhood girlfriend after reuniting 20 years later (Video)
A young man has announced his engagement to his first love and childhood girlfriend after 20 years apart.
Sharing their unique love story, the man identified on Twitter as @syke_sga revealed that he and his now-fiancée dated as children, but they split up and recently reunited after 20 years.
He said meeting her again after two decades, they picked up from where they stopped. He proposed marriage to her last Saturday and he got a YES!
The lady, on her part, giving more details about their relationship, said they first met in the year 2000 and he was also her first love, but sadly their relationship failed after they went to different high schools.
According to her, throughout her 20’s she was in toxic and unhealthy relationships and had started giving up on finding real love when she reconnected with her childhood lover and he gave her a new meaning of love.
Sharing moments from their romantic proposal on Twitter, the young man wrote,
”I proposed to this beautiful woman this past Saturday. She was my first love and girlfriend as a young boy, and 20 years later we reunited and it’s been the l healthiest, loving, and fun relationship I’ve ever had. Similar to back then. Cheers to forever.”
