“We are in talks” – NCF spokesman, Dr. Yinusa Tanko speaks on possible merger between Peter Obi and Rabiu Kwankwaso (Video)
Ahead of the 2023 elections, presidential candidates like Peter Obi, Rabiu Kwankwaso, and Omoyele Sowore among others in different political parties have been advised to unite in order to defeat the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC).
However, speaking on these submissions, spokesperson of the National Consultative Forum (NCF), Dr Yinusa Tanko on Sunday gave stakeholders a glimpse of hope regarding the possibility of a merger between the Labour Party Presidential candidate, Peter Obi and the New Nigeria Peoples Party (NNPP) presidential candidate, ENGR. Rabiu Kwankwaso.
In an interview on Arise TV, Tanko affirmed that there is a need for Obi and Kwankwaso who are well-rooted in the Southern and Northern regions of the country respectively to work together.
Interestingly, the NCF spokesman revealed that if their talks pull through, Nigerians should expect more from them.
