60-year-old Nigerian Woman welcomes Triplets after many years of waiting (Photos)

A US-based Nigerian woman, identified as Chinwe Mbahotu, has welcomed a set of triplets after many years of marriage.

The woman who is said to be over 60 years of age, gave birth to triplets – two boys and one girl – at a hospital in Dallas, US, last week.

A relative of the woman, Cliff Ayozie, took to Facebook to share the amazing news.

Sharing photos from the labour room, he wrote,

“Mother @60+ Blessed with Triplets. Two boys and a girl in Dallas, US. Mom and babies are healthy. My relation, Chinwe Mbahotu has been expecting this special blessings through her marriage years. Now,God visited her to change years of sorrow to Joy and celebrations. Pray and rejoice with us.”

In other news, mobility challenged Nigerian pharmacist, Blessing Mary Ocheido, and her husband Okechukwu Victor Igwegbe, have welcomed their first child.
The disability advocate took to her Facebook page on Sunday, July 25, 2022 to announce the birth of their daughter.

She wrote on her page,

“Once He said it. Twice I heard it. That All Power Belongs to God,”

“The amount of goodwill I have received from friends and family with regard to the birth of my daughter has left me speechless. The kind words, alerts, packages, status updates, mindblowing gestures, and more… words are awfully inadequate to express the depth of my gratitude. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!!!!!! Mama, Papa and Baby are grateful.”
