Baba Suwe: VP Yemi Osinbajo donates N1million to ailing Actor

Yemi Osinbajo, Nigeria’s Vice President has donated N1million to Baba Suwe, the sick Nollywood actor who was struck with chronic diabetes.

Vice President Yemi Osinbajo who offered prayers of quick recovery and further urged well-meaning Nigerians to lend their support to the actor, donated N1million to Baba Suwe through Office of the Youth Organising Secretary, APC Lagos, Aregbe Idris, who showed up at the actor’s home with actress Remi Surutu and other musical acts.

“God is to us a God of deliverance; and death has no power over your life. I am positive that his healing hands will restore your health and cast out every form of infirmity in your body,” Yemi Osinbajo said.

Baba Suwe has been down with chronic diabetes and a recent campaign to raise funds for his treatment has been launched by some Nigerian celebrities.

Mr Latin who denied claims of the Theatre Arts and Motions Pictures Producers Association of Nigeria, TAMPAN, which he heads abandoning Baba Suwe, revealed that the association has been sorting out his medical bills since 2017.

He said;

“I have just instructed the Lagos State executive of the association to check on him (Baba Suwe) to ascertain his health progress.

“I can tell you that we have not abandoned him, as well as any of our members, as being speculated in some quarters by mischief-makers.”
