“Free Naira Marley” – Davido & Yung6ix tell EFCC
Fast-rising Nigerian singer, Afeez Fashola, better known as Naira Marley has reportedly been arrested by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
Although the reason for his arrest was not given, it is assumed that it has to do with his support for internet fraudsters otherwise known as yahoo boys.
The news set social media on fire with many people using the opportunity to taunt the singer who has been causing controversy with his support for ‘yahoo boys’.
After the news of his arrest hit social media, many Nigerians reacted in different ways including DMW boss Davido and Yung6ix.
Reacting to the arrest of the fast-rising singer on his birthday, DMW boss Davido took to his Instagram page to share a picture of the singer with the caption;
#MARLIAN !! Freee bro!!!! Nothing spoil!! I got u!!!
Yung6ix also came out to show support for his colleague.
