King Mswati of Swaziland who has 15 wives orders men in his Country to MARRY MORE THAN TWO WIVES or face Jail Term

King of Swaziland, King Mswati III denies viral reports that claim he ordered men to marry more than one wife or be jailed.

The Government Spokesperson Percy Simelane recently issued statement said,

“The current dispatch titled marry more wives or face jail quoting the King are not only an insult to the monarchy but a disgrace to journalism.His majesty has not made any pronouncement to that effect and it has never been an issue raised by Emaswatini.”

Simelane has also demanded that the newspaper that broke the story provides proof that the King Mswati Of Eswatini uttered such words. See the statement below.

According to previous report, the king of Swaziland, who has 15 wives and 25 children, while his father and predecessor has more than 70 wives and 150+ children, noted that there are more women than men in Swaziland which he says is a very serious problem for a country, which is known to be full of virgins. The report claimed that King Mswati warned that any man or woman who opposes the decision “will face a life sentence”.

A palace source was quoted to have said;

“Here’s the deal, marry at least five wives and you’re assured that the government will pay for the marriage ceremonies and buy houses for them.”
