Trending online is A video in which a Nigerian lady could be seen crying and begging compatriots to come to her rescue as she is trapped in Oman.

The lady, who disclosed she is working in the Middle East country, said trouble started for her when she asked her employer for her salary.

The video, which was shared on Twitter by legendary Nigerian singer Seun Kuti, got the attention of the chairman of the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission (NIDCOM), Abike Dabiri-Erewa.

Reacting to the video after it was retweeted by Naija Resistance Movement, Dabiri-Erewa said the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) is working on the matter.
